Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting tasks and provide insightful analysis of budgets and costs. As a growing engineering and contracting firm, we require someone with strong financial acumen to support our projects and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze budgets, ensuring proper allocation and forecasting for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and monitor expenses to ensure they align with project budgets.
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and recommendations on cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with local financial laws and regulations.
- Assist with tax filings, audits, and financial assessments.
- Generate regular financial reports to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within engineering, contracting, or construction industries.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo ERP) and MS Excel.
- Knowledge with Ministry of Labor, KSA rules and regulations especially regarding ZAKAT
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
