Role Overview:

The Quantity Surveyor will support cost management and contract administration activities for the KAFD project. The role includes preparing BOQs, monitoring project costs, evaluating contractor payments, and ensuring financial and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and detailed quantity take-offs.
  • Evaluate contractor payment applications, variations, and change orders.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Review contract documents and identify financial or contractual risks.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and design teams to resolve commercial issues.
  • Maintain accurate cost records, reports, and contract documentation.
  • Participate in negotiations to ensure optimal value and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consultancy-based QS roles.
  • Experience with large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects (KAFD experience is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, and cost control processes.
  • Proficiency in QS tools (Excel, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Excellent reporting, analytical, and coordination skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic is required; English is an advantage.

The Project Manager will lead the site supervision team, coordinate all stakeholders, and ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the entire site supervision team.
  • Coordinate daily with the client, consultants, and contractors.
  • Monitor progress, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and resolve on-site issues.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress and financial reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in construction supervision and project management for similar high-profile developments.
  • Proven leadership and coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and reporting abilities.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved plans.
  • Monitor contractor work quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and other engineers to resolve site issues.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
  • Ensure site safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in site supervision for similar office or commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent reporting and coordination skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
